Ever since I got set up with my Logitech wireless mouse, my computer won't go in stand by/sleep (Top left "moon" button on keyboard) all the way. It visually appears to work fine, but all the cooling fans stay on! It otherwise acts completely like it's in stand by mode, monitor goes dark and into "orange light" mode, hitting keys brings it back, but the fans never go off. Any advice?

That's a hell of a disclaimer, we need a policy on what to use for these type of threads.

What kind of wireless mouse? Bluetooth? RF?

Sounds to me like it's a faulty device that doesn't support suspend states, a faulty USB controller or user error.

Without wanting to derail the thread, I just feel compeled to point out how annoying ImSoShort's mini-modding is becoming.

We didn't want you here in the first place, kid, let alone telling us what is and what isn't acceptable for the forums.

Sleep/Standby is just one of those things I've always had trouble with, it picks up a quirk and starts acting up (AutoPlay is guilty, too). Without having looked into it too much, my guess is an issue with explorer. Everything tries to stick its fingers in explorer, so I wouldn't be too surprised if during the device install a switch got flipped somewhere (even though I don't know why a wireless mouse would need to do that).
