Aren't you supposed to shampoo it?
2009-07-13, 6:57 PM #7
well not really, but i like to

2009-07-13, 7:34 PM #8
So what do you wash it with, then? Soap? And dry out your skin?

That is not a good place to have dry skin.

Shampoo dries out your skin more than soap.
I'm just a little boy.

Flirbnic's right. Shampoo is very "soapy" in that it has a lot of cleansers and surfactants in it to help remove oil buildup in hair. Ironically bar soap does a much better job of that...

I used bar soap for everything last week because I didn't pack shampoo. Short hair FTW. :P
woot!

I voted in this thread before I made my new decree. Thus I can post about my unit area in it without banning TheNewKid.

I have always and will always shave my pubic region clean. Hair is gross, mmkay. I don't like it on a girl, and I return that favor.

I'm on that boat. As a girl friend once said, "who wants to floss with pubes?" :psyduck:
DO NOT WANT.

Mine are trimmed and shampooed. If you clean out the shampoo properly there are no dangers of irritation or dry skin. Of course if your pubes are 3 inch long and curling all over, I can imagine its tough to wash it out properly.

Shaving bare is a little over the top.

...Conditioner doesn't do anything for your skin. Get anti-dandruff shampoo. No danger of drying out your skin; no destroying the hair using ordinary soap.

Actually most of them do affect your scalp to an extent.

And anti-dandruff shampoos actually dry out my scalp cause me to have dandruff.

That's confused me for a while too. :P
nope.

Yea, Head'n'shoulders and other anti-dandruff crap actually causes me to have dandruff. On rare occasions where it didn't, when I stopped using it, it caused dandruff almost instantly.

Regular Herbal Essence (*moan*) shampoo works great for me and smells pretty good.

Even for pubes.

Anti-dandruff shampoo can cause dry skin and even dandruff if overused. There's bar soap with the same active ingrediant, in higher concentration, for treating acne. I've used one called ZNP. Hair doesn't get "destroyed" easily. Most all of the information put out by shampoo companies about "healthy" hair, repairing hair and split ends is complete bogus. Hair is dead, it cannot heal.

Body wash and water, but I also trim. When I've gone a time without trimming, I actually do use shampoo because it actually works really well and makes my Netherlands smell like gardens. However, I make sure to put plenty of lotion on after that, because as mentioned, dry nuts=jock itch or worst.

Huh, you mean people who are highly-susceptible to advertising routinely engage in magical thinking?
