I dont know if this is a myth but.. Can you in fact play roms on it? If memory serves you can put M.A.M.E. roms in it right? Or was that a open end discussion between developers? Or can you in fact put other various roms/emulators in it? Being purhchased of course.. Something that just hit me..

You'd need a mod chip and you'd also probably need a few other mods (Granted, they're legal). At least, that's what I understand.

A mod chip? Well they are purchased legally.. Installed legally.. I mean I am one to buy the game.. Because I just dont feel 100% secure using a mod chip..

mod chips aren't supported by M$, so there's no chance they'd what you to use it

unless you have a switch installed to switch the mod on/off you CANNOT play on xbox live with a modchip installed and if you accidentally leave it switched on while going onto xbox live... your serial number is banned and your xbox will no longer be able connect to live even with the mod off

A mod chip is not required to mod an XBox however a modded XBox should not work with XBox live if that is a consideration.

No, there is a flaw in a few games that allow you to access the XBox harddrive through save game files and a USB adapter that Microsoft will give you that allows you to connect a thumbdrive to the system to upload new software.
