So it turns out that the prestige edition of Modern Warfare 2 will come with functioning night vision goggles, this is news to me. It's also very cool.

The guy's pretty annoying, but otherwise it's awesome!

God damn they look awesome.

I don't know how well they'd work, and the highly cynical part of me reckons they'll be ****. If they turn out to be good, though? I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

Well, maybe.

Hell, and the original Call of Duty for free is pretty awesome. I never played it.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

i think i'll stick to the normal or hardened edition... i can do without the head and the NVGs are probably totally outclassed by my camcorder's nightvision mode

that kid's slurring pointless ramble was really really annoying, way too long for the information he gave, and uninteresting. I'm mad now.

If someone gets ahold of these and says they work well, I'm sold.

I don't own a 360 though. Can you buy it for PC?

Something in the back of my head tells me this will unfortunately stimulate more 13 year olds and lead them into a tactiCOOL mindset.

I love the bobble head! It's on my desk in fact.

Also, regarding this game, I think it was a good idea to put "Call of Duty" back in the title. "Modern Warfare" is as generic sounding as it comes.

I want to release a WWII game called .... "WWII Game".

No, special editions are only for ps3/360.

Hardened edition is the way to go, it's worth it for the fantastic original COD

Most night vision goggles are 200+ dollars, something tells me these won't be of the highest quality.

Think I might go for the other version of the game, the art and stuff looks P. cool.

That's true. The whole package is $150. Unless IW stuck some sort of deal in producing decent night-vision goggles en mass, if you minus the cost of the game and the materials that come with the package, you probably left with paying a good handful fir crappy nightvision.

I used Night Vision Goggles a couple days ago during our At Sea Replenishment. They're awesome.

Also, yesterday I got to mess around with a NFTI. Also cool. Looks like a negative image, but more blurry and kinda more black and white.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
