When did Sliders jump the shark?

I used to watch Sliders as a kid on occasion, usually when my brother watched it. I started watching through it again. I've seen all of the first two seasons, which were great. I especially liked the episodes in worlds where there were no antibiotics, nuclear weapons and where the British ruled the USA.

It seems like season 3 has taken a turn for the worst, being more Stargate like with running villains and the like. I see why they did it, it's not easy to keep up the type of formula used in the first two seasons. You run out of material eventually. But when does it start to suck? At what point are there no more episodes worth watching?

Don't they swap around a few of the characters at some point?

By the end of the show, only one starting character is left, so yeah... It goes downhill fast after like season 2.

1st seasons of sliders = awesome and interesting, goodish acting/actors.

later seasons of sliders = utter crap, terrible acting. The only good thing was Kari Wuhrer. Hot. I found her facebook personal page. She has 3 kids, but still hot.

  do her}
elseif(getThingFlags(source) & 0x4){
  do other babe}
else{
  do a dude}

Kari Wuhrer: Three thumbs up.

It begins to go downhill once John Rhys-Davies is no longer on the show. He's the "fat guy" that's also in Indiana Jones & Lord of the Rings (Gimli). However, I would still recommend watching the rest of the series. There are a few good episodes afterwards.
? :)

Anyone else think Wade's actress would make a passable Princess Leia during season one?

I started watching it when his brother was on the show, only seen a few episodes of the first couple seasons. Then they decided to "merge" the two brothers into a brand new guy that sorta looked like a combination of both of them and brought on a black teen/early 20's girl, then the show got stupid. then they killed off the guy who was the combination of both brothers, and the finale sucked.

Also, who remembers the episode where Quinn's double was a woman, Logan Mallory? She was hot. If I had a double female I'd hit it. [http://img393.imageshack.us/img393/1580/emotquagmirelz3.gif]

If you had a female double, I would not hit it.

"The series co-creator, Tracy Tormé, has often been critical of the direction the series took in the third season.[8] David Peckinpah was brought onto the series in the third season (around the time when Tracy Tormé started to criticize the show). Peckinpah has been criticized by fans of the show, who argue that his involvement caused the show to 'jump the shark.'"
