I have discovered something about Morrowind

I read somewhere that there is a theory that the Dwarves of Norse mythology are actually Persians, who apparently had long beards and advanced knowledge of metallurgy.
So, I did some googling on a hunch.

Um. Yes but weren't those dark elves, not dwarves, in morrowind?

Although overlooking this, you do seem to be onto something.

Dunmer - Personalityless blue/grey skinned Elves.

Dwemer - Steampunk, robot building, and oddly skinny Dwarves.

The Dark Elves are the Dunmer who inhabit Morrowind abundantly in the game - the guys with the bluish grey skin.

The Dwemer, also known as Dwarves or Deep Elves are the ones who used to inhabit Morrowind, and all that's left is ruins.

They made some damn fine heavy armour, though.

And the Dragonbone Cuirass is also pretty pimpin'.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

Apparently the Dwemer armour in the game is actually made from the exteriors of robots, and wasn't originally worn by the dwarves.
