those places have some awsome things cheap

just yesterday i got a Logitech Driving Force wheel for my PS2 for $10
what was wrong with it you ask?
1.the plug on the end of the cable for the pedals was broken off but that was fixed easily (pedals for my PC wheel work and have the same plug)
2.the usb plug was bent... also easily fixed
3.no power adapter also easily fixed (i have other logitech wheels that use the same adapter)

on the subject of wheels at a salvation army store i found my Formula Force GP wheel for $6... no power adapter but i had one from when i bought my gamecube wheel

my sega saturn was purchased at goodwill for $10

a large number of random games for various systems over time...

one time at a salvation army i got a bunch of atari games for 50cents each it was also the same salvation army store where i got my (fully working) atari with 25 games and the storage case for $15 before that i had an atari with no sound but the games could be played

my current joystick (MS Precision Pro) was $1 at a salvation army... my cd changer i got for $10 at a goodwill just so many things

and rummage sales... yeah $5 for my Peavey TNT100 $20 for a CD-i with a bunch of games, $2 for a virtual boy, $1 for 12 monkeys DVD and it also had office space in the case... $10 for LttP for GBA with the strategy guide...

most of my older consoles were found at rummage sales

I bought a running 1983 Honda CB900 Custom for $400 at a yard sale.
I bought an SNES and four games for $10 at the Goodwill.
I got a Genesis and two games for $10 at the Salvation Army.
I bought 27" TV to play my games on at the Salvation Army for $15.
I bought a running 1972 Honda CT90 (Cool! Rare!) for $120 at a yard sale. I spent $40 on tune ups and minor carbeurator work. It's current value is over $1600.
I bought a nearly-running 1974 Honda ST70 (Cool! Rare!) and a whole crate full of parts for $200. After sinking another $20 to get it running (using some of the crate parts), it is now worth just over $1200.

[Maybe it was CT70 and ST90, I always get confused, but it's not worth the effort to run down to the garage and check.]
