Looking for a game, Help me Massassi!

I remember when I was but a wee lad on the old p2 233 we had a demo disk full of older game demos, two games I remember specificly but can't find:
A car driving game with good physics, deformable cars, and a hell of track that will probably kill you before you finish.
And a top view shooter where you start in a chopper, but can get out and grab tanks or go rambo.

Please help, been looking for YEARS.

The racing one sounds a lot like Destruction Derby, I used to play that game all the time, and I was insanely impressed with how well its physics were and realistic damage looked at the time of its release. There was also a Destruction Derby 2, so which one you're referring to (assuming that's the right game) is beyond me.

I have no idea about the second, though.

Was set in a jungle for the demo, and had a part with rolling boulders so im pretty sure it's not DD, Thanks though.

The second one sounds like Urban Strike, but that wasn't released on PC as far as I'm aware.

myabe... Whiplash 3D.

This was a totally kickass game btw. Anyone ever play it?

The only games with decent driving physics in those days where made from papyrus, like Indycar Racing

Can't be whiplash, It had 3D card and full windows support, thanks for all the help so far.

The game im thinking of had full 3D graphics, and a third person perspective. Sadly it's not that or carmageddon.

I didn't think this would be so hard.

Destruction Derby is the only one I can think of.
