Except Sonic games are developed by the Sonic Team, which I assume is almost entirely composed of mongoloids...

SEGA is acting as producer for this game.

Publishers can still ruin games, just like Atari ruined Race Pro on the 360, forcing sim bin to release a game that wasn't finished, full of bugs, and just lacking.

Driver 3 could have been good, had Atari not suddenly cut 3 months of the dev time. Kotor2 is the same.

Damn you Atari

I always hated the old Sonic games, you can't see where you're going! (I dislike GTA 1/2 for the same reason) 3D solved that problem (mostly). I actually like the more recent games.

*AHEM*

Since Rebellion released their first AvP back in '99, this has been wanting. Especially since I can't play the first due to some weird errors  ...

And don't mean to be an ***, but was that sarcasm zanardi? If so, I just wanted to get more peeps in on this AWESOMENESS!

I look forward to lurking in dark spaces.

The aliens should have an even bigger advantage in this one, what with the current-generation graphics.

I always thought an AvP mod for Doom 3 could be good, what with the dynamic shadows and all. There's potential in this sequel but then there's also a good chance they'll screw it up somehow.

I'd prefer it if they had a checkpoint-based savegame system and the spawn locations/times of the aliens were randomized... those were two ways in which AvP2 was worse than AvP1 imo.

I love it when you pop out of the woodwork (lurkwork?) and say something eminently sensible. :D

Didn't atari have a bit of a shakeup after they ruined a bunch of games 5 years ago? :P
nope.

All sonic games should be like SONIC RUSH on the DS. Except maybe rendered in side-view 3d. Sonic Rush is the first sonic game since Sonic & Knuckles that hasn't sucked.

There was nothing wrong with sonic adventure. :colbert:
nope.
2009-07-30, 3:27 PM #22
It's because SONIC FANBOYS want the SAME DAMN THING AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN.

And most game companies (wisely) don't just make the same game over and over.
2009-07-30, 3:29 PM #23
Nintendo do, and they're doing pretty well.
nope.
2009-07-30, 3:33 PM #24
So far, I've paid $180 to get the same Nintendo game three times.

And guess what? I'm probably going to make it $240 within the next few years.

Most.

And... actually. The only example I can think of is Brawl, and it sucked. Everything else is different and fanboy-angering.

I'm pretty sure MOST companies do the exact opposite.
