So far it's nothing major, new Avatar store is pretty cool. The netflix features are awesome, now you can add movies to your queue from the box. Also, if your "signal speed" of your movie increases it will increase the quality during play back not just decrease the quality, and you can watch movies with friends in a party. Couple other small things in this update, anyway it's worth checking out.

Avatar "store" is cool? I find it disturbing that you'd have to pay for an avatar.

I don't see myself watching movies with xbox friends but some people might, whats wrong with that?

A chat channel I go to has watched movies and shows together before. Might be fun to do it with audio. Could also be useful for long distance relationships.

well if they make the party feature work with voice chat during the movie you could do some MST3K type viewings of the movies which could be kinda fun

Oh, I was assuming voice chat was part of it. Can you only watch it with friends who have netflix?

I want party chat with more than 8 people.

I often play with more than 8 friends and it's annoying have to press on the D-pad to chat.

Screw any other features, give us party chat with more than 8 people.

Yeah 8 people parties really suck when some games have teams or players that are >8

The new netflix queue management system is nerfed to absolute pointlessness. It sucks. You can only add movies from a specific selection of top movies from a category. There is NO search or way to browse the whole catalog.

With regards to the Avatar store, it is of course utterly ****ing retarded to buy clothes for your avatar with real money, but it does also allow for games to unlock certain clothes for your avatar with certain achievements. That is fairly cool, but I wonder how many developers are actually going to do it when they could charge for it instead.
I kinda figured that themes and gamerpics would be unlocked by achievements, but why are developers (or maybe this is more the publisher's decision) going to give something away for free when they could charge for it to generate a small amount of revenue?

At the moment, I think 'Splosion Man is the only game that unlocks certain avatar clothes (and it's an awesome game to boot), but I don't think many others will follow. That'll just be another tab I never use.

Maybe just to limit the bandwidth demand but give people the ability to at least work with the most popular shows.

I'm pretty sure FIFA '09 added a bunch of international football shirts, but they're crap and probably wouldn't be used by anyone except skinhead In-ger-land supporters and presumably the only games they play are "get drunk and smash up bars in other countries"

i just do what i always did... use the website to add to my queue

i have to go there to manage my DVD/bluray queue might as well manage my streaming queue from the website as well

What do you mean only some movies? I haven't had a problem adding any streaming movies to my queue.. my queue is ****ing huge!

Yeah I totally wish you could browse the whole list, but at that point it would be pointless to even have a queue.

But it is a little helpful, and you can at least remove items from you queue which is nice.
