Inwin mATX case with 240w power supply
DVD-RW
E2180
ECS G31T-M
4Gb DDR2-800
400Gb Western Digital SATA
Windows 7 Ultimate RC1 (good 'till June 1 2010)

I am thinking about selling it to help pay for my TV...or to fund the MR2's GoFaster fund.

That is worth about $10. I will buy it from you for $15. It is a good deal, yes? You would be a fool not to accept such a generous offer!

I'm not interested in it (too many sparepc's already), but I would estimate its worth around $285.

This is the closest system to your specs/condition I was able to find online: http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=H210H3644U-OB&cat=SYS for $339.

I think it is worth about $300, but some out there would value it up to $400

I'd actually be surprised if it got $200. That CPU above is not good at all. It's like a Celeron.

I think the GoFaster fund should be lotto based... better luck there than with that PC. Sorry.

I'm surprised it even boots up with that power supply.

That was my first thought too.

If you decide to part it out, how much for the HD and how old is it? I only have an 80GB SATA.

It's fast enough for most people. If you're going to compare it to a Celeron, compare it to the 300a - easy 50% overclock out of the box. I brought it back to stock speeds because I can't fit an aftermarket cooler in this case.

Computers use a lot less power than you think they do. I bought a Radeon HD 4650 that I was going to run in it - look here:

Quote:
When it comes to power consumption, the Radeon HD 4670 is nothing short of awesome. At idle our entire testbed (Intel G45 + Core 2 Quad Q9450) used only 67W with the Radeon HD 4670. Under load running Crysis we were looking at 139W.

I'll keep it before I part it. Not worth the hassle.

k.

If nobody wants it, I'll probably just keep it, toss a WD Green drive in there and have a ~60w system kicking around.

Aaand, how about with a little load on it?

Maybe it's just me, but I think it does just fine.
