Color adjusting in Photoshop
2009-08-10, 3:31 PM #1
So I have a big batch of images and I want to color correct them to all have the same sort of colors and tones. One photo came out just PERFECT and I am trying to make the rest of the images look the same- So here is my question to you-

Does Photoshop have a feature that allows you to grab the color information from one photo and to place it in another photo? For example- I want all my photos to only use certain colors, is there a way to do that without having to color correct each photo by hand?

Danke.

Create an action for it.
TAKES HINTS JUST FINE, STILL DOESN'T CARE

The problem with that is the photos all have different color lighting- so even if I apply the same effects on them, they don't all come out looking the same in the end. I want to know if there is a way to make sure all the images are only using the same colors.

kroko that's not how you myspaceify a photo

you crank the contrast and desaturate... that way it's "artsy" and "edgy"

like this photo of a beef and bean frozen burrito that was missing the beef and bean

Incidentally, I was WTFing at Kroko, not what he did to the photo. Really, it looks better that way. Hides some of the WTF.

To kinda get back on track a little bit...

Sajn, I think you're going to have to do 'em one by one unfortunately. You can take Zully's advice to a degree as far as using an action for levels and such, but as far as changing the color of lighting you're going to have to single out each hue and adjust it manually if you want the colors changed... and it's going to be really tough to get it to look good.

I have a question: why does the great Serj Tankian have amateurs working for him?
2009-08-10, 11:18 PM #13
1. It's cost effective.
2. I'm not doing a crappy job.
3. Serj is happy.
4. I'm not a complete noob- I know how to use Photoshop better than a lot of people, but perhaps not at a professional level.

Here is a work in progress design for his lyric booklet. This was put together entirely in photoshop and illustrator.

You know, Sajn would be done by now if he'd just done it rather than whine about it.
