I think you need more nested font tags; the rendering engine otherwise might not be sure which font you intend it to use

Detty, are you using a WYSIWYG editor? 2 Things I'll mention first are IMO, you should at least use XHTML 1.0 transitional, and I haven't seen tags used with capital letters in like over 6 years. In fact XHTML doesn't even like capital letter tags

I'm guessing that they had a LOT of meetings about the font size of those links, and after lots of arguing between 8 and 9 pt, whoever wanted the 8pt font won, and REALLY wanted to rub it in "Mr. 9pt"'s face. Then there was a similar meeting about the color. Because both are SO important, they both required their own meetings.

Or some manager was had a horrible experience with a previous site that s/he worked on, where some text wasn't the precise font and color s/he wanted, and made it a point to be right on this project and forced it down the developers' throats, so one person went overboard to ensure this manager would see it was set.

Its likely because they A) Don't know squat about it (Tibby) or likely do not have the time to check it out.

For my part, I've been out of the game for too long to judge with any level of reliability. .(

the design itself is ok, simple and easy to navigate and doesn't overload you with useless flashy gimmicks.

But I was pointing out that some parts of the site don't render properly in different browsers, something that could probably be fixed or lessened with some coding changes. I'm just to lazy to go through it and find it.
