So just a few things I've noticed that would possibly make browsing a bit more efficient on the Massassi Forums. I don't know what kind of capability our overlords have over the code (or if they're willing to even bother), but I figured it could in the least, spur some discussion. So if you have any further suggestions, post below, or extrapolate on my own.

1) Forum Names and Jump to Page: In the thread index page, for threads longer than 5 pages, why not have it display the last 5 pages instead of the first 5? (ie: Camhoes thread says: "Camhoez (talk about the pages = ban) ( 1 2 3 4 5 ... Last Page)" Who honestly wants to visit pg 3 or 4? But we might want to visit the 2nd to last page if there's stuff on it we haven't seen, and currently that means click on the last page, then clicking back a page, which adds a whole extra step then if we could just click on the 2nd to last page directly.)

2) Massassi PDA: I've noticed in this theme, there is no link at the bottom of the page to take you back to the thread index. This is really frustrating when you scroll to the bottom of a long thread, then want to go back to the thread index and have to scroll all the way back up. Add a quick link back to the thread index! (On the subject, add back in the "last post by" part, cause there's no way to tell otherwise without going to the thread itself, which wastes a lot of time on a slow connection.)

3) Speaking of themes: How about a theme like "Massassi LITE" or something? Like a mix between PDA and Standard. (Or just vamp up PDA a little, but I understand the desire to keep loading times down, so a new theme is a better option in my opinion.) (As an example, the more advanced editing tools (smiley links, formatting links) on the post/reply page could be removed, or the graphic logos, but don't strip it quite as much as the PDA theme.

Anyway, that's all I got for now.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

I think it would be good to not automatically log out after 15 minutes...like, have an option to stay logged in until the browser is closed.

a great idea would be not spending significant resources on the 0.001% of the forum population stuck on 30 year old packet radio

The first page of Camhoez is really weird.

Even though I actually remember Ruthven's "I DO DECLARE POST THY PICS MASSASSIANS" thread better.

I'm not going to spend any sort of time working on a new theme. VB4 will be coming out soon, which has held off my development of "New Massassi" for the time being until its release, as it seems to be a major overhaul, as it should be.

Had I been drinking, it would have come out my nose. As it is, I made a fool out of myself by bursting out laughing whilst riding the ferry.
