Those of you that speak to me outside of the forum will probably know that I'm a fan of 90s music. People seem to claim that the rule of thumb is that fashions repeat themselves every 20 years or so, be them musical, clothing, hairstyles etc [thanks to footballers, some chavs seem to be having a sort of semimullet revival at the moment] and that would seem to indicate that after the last decade's annoying long emulation of 80s fashions we might be in store for another case of the 90s. Yay! :D

The 90s gave us the final death of hair metal, grunge, britpop and the pinnacle of rave. [But maybe we should just try and forget nu metal. :P] But anyway, I say to thee massassians of the internets; post the songs that you think seems to capture the sounds of the last awesome decade in memory. :P

I'll start with 3 songs, 1 of which even Obi should know. :hist101:

nope.

I'm proud of my life and the things that I have done, proud of myself and the loner I've become.

Uh, those aren't 1990s songs.

No other genre of music existed in that decade.

Stop! Hammertime.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

I think his point was that in his mind, nothing existed in the 90s apart from eurotrash.

There's a reason I didn't mention europop, it was awful. :P
