I don't really know what to make or think of this.. But after reading this I'd like someone to answer this.. How the hell does a Paraglider go down towards the ground, then CLIMB BACK UP to 1000 feet without a plane/heli/some kind of aircraft or jetpack..

Oh and by the way, if the guy touched down as the article mentions, no updraft could be strong enough to propell him from the ground up to 1000ft in the air.

I think this whole situation is hilarious. That powerer glider news remains me of my first reaction to those stupid shoes with wheels under them.

I was getting a hair cut once at the mall. As I looked out the entrance I saw a kid walking in a hurry and suddenly start... sliding forward on his heels. Big wtf. It wasn't until later that I learned of the existence of those... roller shoes.

Well, you never know what the government has in it's secret project's. It's entirely feasible to conclude that there is some sort of new technology they've got, and they were testing it out.

There are powered para-gliders. They really shouldn't be near air-ports though.
