I can't believe only one suggestion for Oregon Trail has been made

Educational programs/games are a must!

Oregon Trail, Math Blaster (if they still make it), KidPix, Spellbound, Where in the ___ is Carmen San Diego, Civ I ... any of the Jump Start games ...

Also I think unless hes really smart, dosbox might be too complicated for him to run.

How about games that aren't old and ugly? Half of you are only mentioning games you like(d) because of nostalgia.

I don't know if you can even get it anymore but I used to play this awesome game called Number Munchers. It taught you to multiply and stuff.
