I love sliced italian sausage and sliced chicken, but for some reason can't stand crumbled (like the little chunks you find on sausage pizza) italian sausage.

I don't like spaghetti & meatballs or any of the other "staples" as much.

1. I demand an other option.
2. I demand that the title be changed to spaghetti.
3. Somehow your poll about spaghetti missed out both bolognese and carbonara options.

SORRY I FORGOT OTHER OPTOINS AND THE "OTHER" OPTION I WAS IN A HURRY CUZ I WANTED TO EAT MY SPAGHETTI :(

Italian sausage is what americans call like ... sausage you put in pasta <_<

Uhh, some sort of beef something is all over mine, it's not meatballs though.

It depends on if you cooked the sausage in the sauce or not. Definitely gives it a world of flavor if you do.

Also a half of sausage is usually what I do, but considering my mother makes excellent meatballs when I am over for dinner, I have to go with option #1.

my diet for the past few months has been pasta and ground turkey.
I'll throw the turkey in a big frying pan as I am cooking the pasta, then when it's done I will dump the pasta in the pan and add a bunch of spices to it. Usually either I'll add pasta sauce or teryiaki (sp) to it.

Once in a while I'll throw in some pork instead of turkey.

Of those, probably crumbled sausage. Would vote other.

[edit] The other would be sauteed zucchini and crumbled Gorgonzola.

I either eat it with just butter and Parmesan cheese, or with meat sauce and cheese.

As an Italian American, I can easily say meatballs are the way to go.

The perk of also being half Scandinavian is that I sometimes get Swedish meatballs in the mix.

If I have to go with a staple, its pesto or bolognese. But I usually make more fancy stuff like shrimp sage and butter or sausage puttanesca.
