It's probably going to get fixed soon, but this is rather unsettling. This is the first time GMAIL let me down (even though they did have outages before, apparently).

Yeah, Notifier went screwy a little while ago. But I've been playing Fallout 2 all evening so it hasn't really bothered me too much.

And as I write this, strangely, it's just started working again. Cool.

It's only half back for me. I'm still getting random buggy error messages like right now (A big red "Gmail is temporarily unable to access your Contacts. You may experience issues while this persists." message at the top)

I use Thunderbird to retrieve my gmail, there's no message to even tell me when it goes down.
