Republican talk radio hosts set up a demonstration on 9/12 saying that the nation should be brought back the feeling after 9/11 2001, alot of the worst kinds of republicans attended.

It's funny because the people protesting are exactly the right kind of targets for a troll like that.

It wasn't Republicans though, there were Republicans, Democrats and Independents that hate both parties.

There's a sign in a cornfield around here that says "Ban Sodomy." I've always wanted to put up one next to it that says "I want to be an outlaw." Maybe tack on a picture of Yosemite Sam for good measure.
Why do the heathens rage behind the firehouse?

See, that's funny, and believable.
It didn't need to be shopped.

The tea parties have been a terrific source of unintentional humor. I can't link it here due to the swear filter, but there's more at Look At This ****ing Teabagger.

-_-

I knew that, I was trying to explain one reason why that pic could be funny.

The original pic was better though, don't get why they thought it needed the word ***** to be added, I'm not against swearing of course but I don't think it makes things automatically funnier either

Yeah, see...

If during the civil rights movement some white dude held a sign saying "Go pick my cotton, boy!" I wouldn't think that was funny.
2009-09-24, 9:25 AM #27
Because blacks and whites weren't always equal (under the law) then as far as I know.
2009-09-24, 9:34 AM #28
neither were men and women. *coughvotingcough*
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

That's a very extreme example, that protest is nothing like the civil rights protest. You've taken this way too far and way too seriously.
But oh well, you don't wanna laugh, we can't make you ;)

I know; I quasi-Godwined my own argument. But my point was clear: you'll only find it funny to the extent that you don't take the issue of sexual equality seriously. Why is it that racism is taken so much more seriously than sexism?
