A modest proposal

Before you say anything, hear me out.
I propose we create a new forum, The Technical Forum, in much the same vein that we have a Games forum. I frankly don't see why we don't have this, and I nominate GBK or someone else technical inclined to moderate the new forum.

Anyone for/against this?

First, the Games Forum is useless as people who are serious about gaming with each other would have found better communication methods (i.e. Steam, Xbox Live, even JKLauncher) as of now. I suggest getting rid of it as its usefulness has expired in this day and age.

I propose an imsoshort forum.

Well, I think the games forum is useless too. I think removing it and allowing that discussion to be here is smarter.
The community isn't big enough to be seperated like that, but if we're going to then logicly it follows that a tech forum is created.

We had a tech forum a couple years ago. It was removed because it got less posts per month than the Cog forum. [/sarcasm]

Yeah, I wasn't saying anything about his intelligence (good thing too, given my misspell) I just thought he was here from when we DID have the technical forum.

Genk's right, making a new board would only be a good idea if the forums were being inundated with threads about the would-be boards topic.
As it is, we don't get many threads of... well, anything at all.

We still have a tech forum, you just can't post in it.

We also have a religion forum, SWG forum and 4 secret forums. The game forum is handy for the couple stickies it has, and the music forum has gone that way too seeing as most of you won't use it. :argh:
