I'm sure a lot of you already know this but...Windows is probably not going to get there latest operating system in until 2006. I was reading this in some business mag. Anywho they expect this will help linux get a little more boost as Windows sluggishly moves to create this "attempt to change how people use computers". And for some odd reason there "code-naming" this longhorn. Wow. Windows uses code names. UH OH WATCH OUT. Anywho just thought some of you linux gods may care.

Longhorn has been really stripped down, to the point where it might as well just be XP SP 3.

FYI, most OSes have a codename.

I personally think Longhorn is a really, really, lame codename though.
