Just came out today.
Must say I like the look of the film, but two things disappoint me. The first, being the new guy as Freddy Kreuger. Maybe it's just me having grown up with Robert Englund as Freddy and his voice being what I've heard for years, it might just be that it's going to take some getting used to. Hopefully that's it but a large part of me still wished they kept Robert Englund. The second, FREDDY'S INNOCENT? WTF? At least the trailer gives off that impression when he says the line in the trailer. I thought he was a child murderer to begin with but we'll see if they hopefully don't change the main part of what made him so evil to begin with.
I'm looking forward to it, especially since I just finished grabbing the nightmare on elm street films a few days ago to re-watch as part of my 80's nostalgia trip. I just hope they don't fudge it up by the things made apparent in the trailer.
