Just realized that's Carrie Fisher in Sorority Row

No, I didn't lower myself to the level of actually going to see the movie. But all of us have probably seen the preview while viewing other films... anyways, the house mother in the new horror flick Sorority Row is none other than Princess Leia, Carrie Fisher. Shes the one that gives the speech at the beginning of the preview, and at the very end of the preview says "Don't think I'm afraid of you! I run a house with 50 crazy *****es!"

I hadn't realized she was still acting.

So? She was on 30 rock playing herself but not herself too.

She was also in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Fanboys.

nope.

She's a looney. She totally fried her brains on drugs when she was younger. I saw an interview with her on NBC's Today Show last year, and she was rambling and not making any sense.

She's in quite a few movies.

I remember laughing really hard when I saw her in Fanboys, as the nurse. Laughed my lings out when the dying fanboy kissed her.

Same with [insert any actor that was in Star Wars*].

*Excluding Harrison Ford.

I don't know. Mark Hamill may have not been able to shed the "Luke Skywalker image" for the screen, but now he's one of my favorite voice actors.

To be fair Alec Guinness was also a very well respected actor long before Star Wars.
nope.

Yeah I really like Hamill better as a voice actor...

I thought she was good in When Harry Met Sally..., she's also had a pretty successful career as a screenwriter and author.

I bet if star wars weren't so popular, Ford wouldn't be saying that. Or maybe he would, I dunno!
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

A very large portion of his income has come from Star Wars. At least, FAR more than any other single project he's ever worked on.
