Info and links to the mod in the article.

Looks pretty darn good, must've been hard to put together. I'm sure it'll interest a lot of you.

[Edit: DON'T install this. The installer is broken and I think it has screwed up KotOR2.]

I heard it wasn't so great, like the most of the content was cut for a good reason and just drags out the gameplay. Still, I'll probably try it out at some point.

I just want something that fixes what's there.
The only reason I don't play this game right now is because one of the quests (involving fuel for a station) is impossible to complete.

My understanding was a lot of content was cut cause Lucasarts wanted to get the game out there quickly to capitalize on KoTOR 1's success so they pressured Oblivion to get it out faster. Also why it has so many bugs in the final version.
Life is beautiful.

Even though the cut sidequests might be funny, what I really want is a proper ending to the game.

Anyhow, gonna check this out... later.

Weird, I thought it was this that was open beta now:

http://www.team-gizka.org/index.html

So there are different projects being worked on to restore the game?
2009-10-06, 1:46 PM #8
Gizka has done **** all since 2007, and even though the project lead authorized the leaking of the latest version, the admins won't allow it.
Retards.

Sorry for the lousy German

I wasn't even aware that this project existed; I only knew about the Team Gizka mod, which is still in the works. Does anyone know what content differences there are between the two restoration mods?
If you think the waiters are rude, you should see the manager.

Not as if it matters since the Team Gizka mod will never be completed.

Exactly, it's in even worse development hell then Black Mesa.

I still think KOTOR 2 should be remade, entirely. Or make a different KOTOR, that takes place within the same time line.
Nothing to see here, move along.

You're in luck, The Old Republic is in development.
It's an MMO though.

Its 300 years AFTER kotor 1. I want a KOTOR about what Revan did in the "uncharted space".
Nothing to see here, move along.

No... he went to fight the "true sith". Which tells me nothing about what he did.
