So I guess now through the 19th, you can World of Goo for a price of your choosing. I think I played the demo and it was funnish, so I might get it now that I can be cheap about it.

I bought the boxed copy at the store for 15 bucks I think. It was worth it, I enjoyed it, for the most part. I didn't go through the "bonus" levels you get after you win (or I thought I won, anyway). The first one was hard and my thing kept collapsing. I guess I'm not intelligent enough. It always prompts me to "work fast" but when I do that things come crashing down right away.

I'm totally paying £3.14159265358 for it.

This reminds me of that Bagel Guy in Freakonomics, that set up a business laying out bagels for office workers and letting them choose how much to pay. Didn't Radiohead do something similar? I wonder if there's been any study of the general profitability of these sort of approaches, beyond just that bagel dude (though Freakonomics has a really good analysis of it, I wonder how much it applies to other sectors and where it doesn't apply).

i paid 50 cents at a rummage sale for the retail version i would have paid the $5 direct2drive was asking
