Can someone give me a hand with DD-WRT?

Linksys WRT54G2 - I have it set up as a wireless repeater - all the settings took and everything seems okay, but I can only access it via wired LAN.

I have wireless and wired on my desktop - if I disabled wired, I can get online via wireless. I think it's picking up the primary router (192.168.1.1) and not the DD-WRT/wireless repeater/bridge (192.168.1.2)...signal strength is not max and the DD-WRT is 5 feet away from the wireless card. If I have both enabled, I have no internet access (I did before, when I had internet connection sharing set up through a wired router).

I followed the tutorial here: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Repeater_Bridge

If I have wireless and wired enabled on my desktop, I lose DNS (opendns IPs on both adapters) but can access the DD-WRT router. If I disable wired, I regain DNS/internet but can no longer access DD-WRT. If I disable wireless, I can still access the DD-WRT router but have nothing else.

Any help would be great!

That's the problem with those non-linux ones, it's really flakey since it's the beta micro builds. :/

I'm not convinced it's a router error..I'm guessing I screwed something up. Maybe I'll try it again later..

Not sure entirely what you're trying to achieve, but this may work better for you:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Wireless_Bridge

I've used it a bunch of times, most recently to bridge my ddwrt router to my wireless dsl modem.

Also, I can kill you with my brain.

I will give that a shot - thanks!

Edit:
ch33zw1z over at Anandtech fixed me up - turns out having ICS on was the root of all my troubles. :)

Did you remember to disable DHCP on the DD-WRT?

I didn't think to disable internet connection sharing (from when I was using a wired switch up here). Everything seems to be beautiful now - going to plug the 360 in and see if it has internet! :)

Edit: Aaand the 360 works! :D
