I'm not a big PS3 guy, so sell me on Uncharted.

Uncharted (the first one) is 30$ at futureshop. I figure I should get it, but I haven't played on the PS3 since... last march.

Sell me, or don't.
(Also I need a new monitor, so even if you don't have a PS3 you can do that.)

It's a 10 hour experience with indiana jones-esque action and treasure hunting, with gunplay, punching, platforming similar to prince of persia, a few puzzles, sarcastic humor, an on-again off-again romance, pirates, an evil german dude, a couple evil latino leaders, and a secret treasure that is actually an evil treasure that will go nameless.

Some gameplay elements may not be perfected, but the overall package just short of amazing. Oh yeah, amazing graphics. When he walks through water, his clothes actually get wet/change color (IE: white shirt becomes greyish)

We have really transcended the graphical barrier when I can really see my guy get wet.

Well as long as it has the punching.

Do it. This game is fantastic. It really is. I felt like I was playing a movie the entire time. It was nothing short of spectacular and is definitely one of my top 3 favorite games.

I went in thinking the game was pretty meh, but after going through it, was I ever wrong. I'm anxiously waiting to play the second one.

This isn't new, Link gets wet like this in Twilight Princess on the Wii. Even darkening only the areas that actually got wet, as well. :eng101:

Do it and then get Uncharted 2, which is frankly amazing...

There are soo many "wow" moments and things that are awesome. Even its graphics are waay above anything else.

I second getting Uncharted II, it is one of the highest rated games on Gamerankings.com and for good reasons.

I'm working on my platinum trophy for Resistance 2 (10,000 kills in MP GRR)

After than I'm torn between Demon Souls or Uncharted 2.

i wish i just had a ps3. It amazes me that a $700 machine can sit in the corner gathering dust.

300 or so now, and It's slim.
It has finally matured to the point where it can really compete with the 360, although it's still up to personal preference.
