It can reach up to 20mph (32km/h) with its lawnmower-powered engine.

I did read that but put presumed that was the speed without the nitrous

Yes, because lawn mower engines are so strong and sturdy, they can survive a nitrous oxide injection no problem.

20mph is probably including the kit. :P
nope.

If it was designed to withstand the average americans weight then yes...

You're an idiot.

Withstanding nitrous has nothing to do with the weight on top of the engine.

Also you don't sit on a lawnmower engine. No, not even on a riding mower.

Nitrous Oxide makes the engine burn hotter, and is corrosive. It destroys automobile engines. It will destroy a lawnmower engine faster.

Minnessassians, get it right. And at least that thing has a radio. My wheelchair costs 20K.

Massassians: taking something cool like a driving chair and turning it into a nerdy argument about how well certain engines can withstand nitrous oxide. :nonono:
DO NOT WANT.

What do you think JediKirby was talking about when he said his wheelchair cost $20K? Duh. He obviously has one of those. :P

I'm pretty sure they just have a disgusting markup. It's like walkers that cost $3,000, they charge that much because they know people need them and will pay. In reality it's just some tubing snapped together that cost less than $10 in materials.

Yeah, my chair is about $5000 in parts. They know insurance/medicare pays for these things, so they set the cost at something outrageous and then haggle down the price with the 3rd parties that then do their best to deny the chair for the individual so that they don't have to pay. It means people get denied based on negotiations, not based on health or needs.
