I had gloves on and couldn't get my gun out of the holster fast enough.

Call me crazy, but I'm not wearing gloves tonight.

You're crazy.

I mean, you passed out unconscious, had vivid hallucinations and then awoke and didn't think "woah, that was a bit odd"?

(dreaming is fundamentally weird)

You were lost in a tangent universe ala Donnie Darko. The tangent universe reset when you died and now you have to do it all over again.

If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Haha, can't blame you. I wouldn't either.

Dreams are creepy like that.

We probably just watch too many movies.

And suddenly your custom title is extra creepy.

Nope, it's a work thing more than a movie thing.

I'm pretty sure I remembered shooting the guy twice in the head, and I didn't die...but it was very unnerving not being able to draw smoothly.

I actually dreamed a few nights ago that I got shot in the face. I wasn't killed and actually came home (from ???) to a hero's welcome, but it was terribly disfiguring.

Dreams (Particularly nightmares) are practice. Your subconscious comes up with some situation, and throws it at you to see how you would react to it. It a safe environment for testing your reactions to dangerous situations, and practicing for when you encounter them in real life.

Thank god I've got that practice in so I know what to do when I get the ability to fly!
nope.

Flight, breathing underwater, summoning items and people, teleportation, and the last thing I tried to learn was walking through walls :P

I watched Land of the Dead and another movie called The Art of Travel last night. I ended up dreaming about a place where spiders bit you and infected you, so once you were bit you turned into a zombie. The whole goal was to kill all the spiders and stop them from infecting people. But when people got infected, they didn't really act any different, they just looked liked zombies. But they were helping us try to find the spiders. It was pretty creepy, actually.

Then it rained really hard and the roof almost collapsed, so I shot holes in it to let the water out.

Not too shabby for one night's work, eh?
