So far, I'm torn. I wish that there was administrative abilities for the original author of each wave, giving them more control over what happens with the wave. The ability to add other administrators to a wave would be good too.

It's different, and I think a lot of people (myself included) will be oppositional at first to the idea of it, simply because it completely goes against what you come to expect out of a social networking/email/instant messenger client. But there's some interesting ideas, and it will probably set some trends for the future of the internet.

It's kinda lacking in features.

Also, dr. wave needs to keep his hands still in the intro video. The way he waves them around all over the plays is incredibly distracting.

Agreed. Apart from the new interactive tools allowing people to collaborate more fully than before, there really isn't anything special. I'm sure that will change though.

EDIT: There are extensions you can install to enhance your waves.

Definitely interested in an invite if any become available.

No it's not. There's a link to send you email using the forums, but it doesn't let others know what your email address is until you reply to the email.
