I have a little project for you if you're willing.

its not anything complicated, just creating a little vector graphic.

See, i'm sure some of you are aware that last summer i proposed to my girlfriend. its getting down to time to send out invitations and things, and we want to make things a little more personal than the mostly generic invites you see.

you see, shes been drawing this little character for a really long time. we call her bug girl. the idea is to get something like this:



which is an ugly mock up i made that took me hours, because i am just horrible with the pen tool trying to make vectors.

what we are looking for is something in the basic style of the sketch, cleaner obviously, with a theme like the above with bug girl in a wedding dress and the balloon with top hat(yes, i realize it looks like a pilgrim hat) and bow tie.

here is the original sketch that i drew over to make the above.

if you're lucky, we may even put you in the special thanks on the ceremony programs....

its not an attack site. for some reason firefox is blacklisting dropbox right now. i had the same problem when trying to redownload the dropbox app. its the same site that the first image is hotlinked from. i suppose i could just attach the file or hotlink to it.

yea, it was the start to some coloring there wont be nearly as much blue, just in the shadows.

Uhm, I really like the original drawing. Why not use that?
