MAP

That is my tentative cross-country motorcycle trek. :ninja:

Of course, I need a job first...and a bit of work on the old gal to make sure I won't be stranded along the way.

You're stopping in Oklahoma City. Explain.
If you think the waiters are rude, you should see the manager.

When is this planned? You're coming straight through Rochester, one of the most concentrated massassian spots in the world!

Unfortunately, I won't be here from December to March...

plz be spring?

I live in Stillwater, a few miles off of 35 north of OKC. What kind of stuff are you looking to do on this trip? I bet I could think of a few places you could stop in Tulsa or OKC on the way other than the memorial.

Oh, and Moab is cool, you'll like it. Good choice.

You drive right by me when you hop 290 in Massachusetts -- I live in Worcester, about a five minute drive from the route 9/downtown exit.

If you needed to see it, they'd have put it somewhere outside of Oklahoma. :P

I live south of your trek. Baltimore is too awesome for you, though.

I'm testing with Scottsdale AZ PD on Saturday, and have an application pending with Tempe. I want to move..just waiting on a job. I doubt it'll be within the next few months - too cold for motorcycling anyway.

Hey JLee, I'm not sure at all what it takes to qualify, but I know a few Texas State Troopers and they all love their jobs. The troopers here have it good I think, and none of them seem to be ****s like city cops or some of the sheriffs.

If you run into an officer named Gail Kavanaugh (sp?) in AZ, tell her that her nephew Zac said hi.

Southern California? Gross. The only reason you should be down there is so you can catch CA-1 north to SF. You've never driven such a road.

Uh yeah, definitely don't goto San Antonio and Houston. Unless you prefer historical sights over fun places. Hit Dallas/Ft. Worth or Austin. Best bets.

No return trip :(

You pass "dangerously" close to me when you hit Salina. I live in Manhattan, which you can see is east of Salina. Abilene, very near Salina, also to the east is home to the The Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum as well as the Greyhound Hall of Fame.

Where 44 crosses over 270 (in Missouri) I'd be about 20 miles north of there. My wife works just off of 44.

Too bad my name starts with J. ;)

I live in Brunswick officially, but it's close enough that it counts. It is Maine, after all.
