My old one had it's second RRoD, and instead of spending $99 to fix an obvious piece of junk, I went out and bought a new one.

Maybe the port is just covered? Crack it open.
Or bring it back, that's the logical step.

I opened it up, it's got the same aluminium casing as the original had. On the newer models, they moved the A/V port up and put an HDMI port where the original one was. This one has the plastic for an HDMI port, which doesn't match the inner aluminium casing.

I'll take it back to Walmart soon, but it's never the less annoying.

Could of just as easily as happened at Best Buy or Gamestop. Walmart closer :D.

When I opened it up the seal was broken. Looks like it's a refurb unit...being sold at full retail price. That's awesome.

Also, perhaps that's why I got a $100 gift card for buying it...

More likely, someone returned it after replacing the motherboard.

Gonna do that Sarn haha. Although I am just gonna swap it for another one, I need a 360 for media streaming. Can't live without it.
