Takahashi's death was gorier than need be, but stylistically, it had to be done.
Gotta love that DBZ-esque cheesy dialogue though.

kill bill (good) + anime (utter, utter crap) + the matrix (meh, nothing special after the first) = some wierd thing thats taking ages to load so i aint gonna bother watching it

I thought the walking animation was utterly crap, and when their not fighting, their animations are pretty bad, otherwise the animations were damn good.

Oh, and whoever said that Kill Bill was cool and that Anime was not has never seen kill bill, or failing that has never seen a real anime. They're the SAME thing. EXACT same thing. KB was BASED on Anime, and made by an anime director. Same with the matrix. You've just only seen the crap America gets. While, I'm not saying that you'd absolutelly love real anime, don't say you know anime. Especially when you like a film that IS anime.

Great anime = Berserk. The animations are sorta bad at first, but they are noticably better at the end of the series. Plus, it has the most badass characher ever.

Whatever.

There's good anime, then there isn't.
