Anybody catch it last night?



It wasn't all that brilliant from where I live, but I did see something else that was interesting..



It was very similar to this, except it appeared to move around. Any ideas?

we went out and looked at it.

i fell asleep while grading papers, so I missed it. :( perhaps i'll catch some tonight. had a great time with the perseids back in august, though: went & camped up at a state park for the night to get away from (at least most of) the light pollution.

Burned a whole bunch of herb and hung out on my buddy's roof for about 2 hours. I counted 8 in that 2 hour span, my friend was able to see about 15 he says :(

I really wanted to see it, but it didn't happen in Australia until after the sun rose so I obviously wasn't going to see anything.

Eh, it was pretty cold here, and overcast, and the peak time was about 1:30 am... at 8-11 objects per hour, wasn't sure it'd be worth it (if anything was visible at all).

I thought it was supposed to be in the hundreds?
