Heres what my car looked like last night around 3am.



now skip ahead to today around 2pm.

my hood cable snapped off on my car, in order to open the hood i had to unbolt the lock thing. (did this a few days ago)


well.. afterwards i forgot to bolt it back down.

can get a hood for like $20 at the wreckers but the windshield i dunno 2 dents in the roof too think i can get'em out though..******* better be able to

as soon as i hit just over 60km/h BOOM hood flys up

**** me....

just spent the last 3 days paintin my interior too, now i gotta go through it all and clean out friggin glass


atleast it was on my own property tho and not on the road where i coulda hit someone or somethin..

Frankly, with an interior like that, the broken windshield and stuff is an improvement. It looks like you took every bad design and color scheme from the 80s and jammed it all into the interior of your car...

Anyways, painting your interior is no problem.. If u know what you're doing.

I got the EXACT same car as you almost...A 1994 Black on Black Cavalier Z22...It's more sporty than other Cavaliers.. But I'd never even consider putting any kind of upgrades on my car like the interior, rims, body kit...etc.. It's a waste of money IMO. Don't spend that much on a body kit for a piece of crap car. Trust me, a few people will be looking in awe, but most will be laughing their asses off.

Ouch.. Sorry to hear this! I got a simple car for the moment heh.. I am getting into the whole car phase myself :P.. But when you normally have the hood of your car swing up.. It wont just swing right back into your windsheild.. But uh it usually goes right through it.. So lucky you werent going any faster! Or you would of been without a limb. Or head. Or something precious to you!

Do you think I have to be like every other person out there and do up a civic? or i could just not do up a car at all and drive it stock.. but whats the fun in that? wouldnt be anymore nights stayin up to 3-4am working on our cars in my shop with my friend, and id have one *** -ugly car.

Why shouldnt I have NOS floormats? whats so bad about that? just cause I don't have nos i cant have floormats (that look cool and match my interior) that say "NOS Racing" ?

One of my friends used to buy/sell/build street racers. He said once The Fast and the Furious came out, the price of parts jumped up about $2,000 each and 90% of his customers became 17.

If you can get it fixed. Cool. Just dont buy a civic.

I can't stand... any car mod I've seen so far. I hate the trend. Get a crappy car, give it a bright, ****ty color scheme, and add plastic looking things that add nothing to speed. As for upgrading the motor, most people who do it will never be in an actual street race.

I want to go the opposite direction. I want the crappiest car I can find (looks, not performance wise), then I want to give it hydrolics, a mexican car horn, and possibly a spoiler made out of a 2x4. People will laugh, and that's the point.

I don't believe any insurance policy covers damage caused by pure negligence. Reporting it would only raise you're premiums.

Is it even possible to fix that yourself? The hood, fine, but finding and installing a windshield...
