What events happened on the following dates that would cause a surge of user activity on the forums (far more people logging in than usual)?

On both of these dates, nearly twice as many people as normal logged in.

This is a sign of massassi's doom.

April = 4th month
October = 10th month

4 + 30 = 34

10 + 18 = 28

34-28 = 6

6 = # of the devil!

Also, notice how it happened 2 years ago, and on 2 occasions?
That means if you put in 2 more 6's, you get the # 666

The october one might relate to the release of JK on Steam?

EDIT: nevermind, didn't check the year. Haven't a clue.

There's also a few outliers in the other direction- when far fewer people logged in than normal. I suspect that the majority of these can be attributed to server and network outages though.

Only one posted ban and no significant celebrity deaths on either of those dates.
