A friend just linked me to this and, although I was quite skeptical at first, it really does look quite good. Certainly are equal elements of humour and action on display, at least. The only name I recognise is Sean Pertwee, who was the Father in Equilibrium.

Watching it again, I also got a huge sense of nostalgia for Cowboy Bebop. I think it was a combination of the music and the big casino ship that did it.

On topic of Ellis and film, did you know that they're making the movie "Red" (based on his short graphic novel series of the same name) with Bruce Willis as Moses? Only learnt that now. The only other adaptation of his work I've ever seen was the failed Global Frequency pilot (which I liked, btw).

I haven't actually read Red. Heh. I've only read Global Frequency, Lazarus Churchyard, Transmetropolitan (ofc), Switchblade Honey, the first few issues of Desolation Jones, and Orbiter. Orbiter was damn good, btw. Maybe some other random stuff as well.
