Oh man I remember watching many of her movies as a child.

Wait no, no I don't, because that would make me about 50 years older than anyone here.

It doesn't have to be in your generation to be familiar with it. Shirley Temple is a cultural icon. It's almost like not knowing who The Beatles are.

did you watch any looney tunes shorts when you were a kid? the vast majority of those were done from the 30s to the 60s

Sean Connery is actually a mutant. Judging by pictures, he has not aged since the early 90s, which coincidentally is when he got radiation therapy. Clearly he has become immortal.
