How can you not know who Shirley Temple is?

Because not knowing about some random celebrity makes you a bad person.

Who the hell is shirley temple? More importantly, why should anyone in this generation care?

2009-12-09, 7:01 PM #15
Oh man I remember watching many of her movies as a child.

Wait no, no I don't, because that would make me about 50 years older than anyone here.

Sorry I don't share everyone's nostalgia for things from two generations before I was even born.

While I'd like to argue that there's a difference between a few years and a few decades, I have to concede that you have a point. Oh well, I've still never seen any Shirley Temple movies.

It doesn't have to be in your generation to be familiar with it. Shirley Temple is a cultural icon. It's almost like not knowing who The Beatles are.

No, you've got it mixed up. Leia was the one in a golden bikini, not Jabba.

i wish everyone could age like sean connery.
I'm proud of my life and the things that I have done, proud of myself and the loner I've become.

Sean Connery is actually a mutant. Judging by pictures, he has not aged since the early 90s, which coincidentally is when he got radiation therapy. Clearly he has become immortal.
