I live in Concord, California. The last 3 or 4 days, I have seen and experienced several things I have never experienced before in my LIFE.
1. Sunday, and Monday nights were both in the low 20s, even teens in some neighboring towns. It's normally not uncommon to go all year without ever dropping below 32 degrees, with some morning frost 1 or 2 times a year. I couldn't open my car door Monday or Tuesday morning. WTF?! Frozen shut!! I didn't even know that could happen!
2. I took this picture on my way to school, just around the corner. Never, EVER, seen this before: (snow on cars!)
3. I took this picture Monday afternoon from a park with a hill a mile or two from my house. Usually the top of the mountain gets a minor dusting once a year that lasts 24 hours at most before it's gone, and the snow level never drops below 3000 - 3500 feet.
However, Monday morning it snowed all the day down to sea level, and most of the snow you see is STILL THERE.
I will remind you where I live! Northern California, not far from the coast! It flat out DOES NOT SNOW HERE!!! I'm 25 freakin miles outside of San Francisco! It's like twilight zone around here!
