It's even cold here in Texas... it was 23F last night. Which isn't unheard of here, but cold to us.

It's been nothing but windy in the mornings here in Toronto. We got some snow yesterday and it's left a little bit of a mess, maybe a few centimeters worth. It has been freaking cold out the last few days though.. And before that it was nice and lukewarm.. :(
2009-12-10, 10:26 AM #13
I haven't seen temps above 20F during the day for several days now. And its been around 5F when I leave for school in the morning.
Life is beautiful.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means, what you think it means

I'm not sure how you could misunderstand the meaning of that word.

Unless you're talking about imaginary, unborn children.
nope.

You keep using this bit of punctuation (,). I do not think it means what you think it means. :P

Win.

It's been kind of chilly around here lately - highest we've had this week was 55F today. Around 40F most of the time - not too bad by some standards, but it's a long way off from the 85F we're accustomed to.
2009-12-10, 1:54 PM #31
It's been down to something like 11 degrees here, which is colder than our normal lows by far, and it's only December. We typically have mild winters, this is ridiculous. The weather people on the news blame Canadian air so it must be true! Our highs have been below freezing the past 4 days!
2009-12-10, 2:39 PM #32
Still beats last winter, no real snow so far. Roads are nice and dry. Cold though, glad I'm not working for UPS again.

I live in Concord, California. The last 3 or 4 days, I have seen and experienced several things I have never experienced before in my LIFE.

1. Sunday, and Monday nights were both in the low 20s, even teens in some neighboring towns. It's normally not uncommon to go all year without ever dropping below 32 degrees, with some morning frost 1 or 2 times a year. I couldn't open my car door Monday or Tuesday morning. WTF?! Frozen shut!! I didn't even know that could happen!

2. I took this picture on my way to school, just around the corner. Never, EVER, seen this before: (snow on cars!)

3. I took this picture Monday afternoon from a park with a hill a mile or two from my house. Usually the top of the mountain gets a minor dusting once a year that lasts 24 hours at most before it's gone, and the snow level never drops below 3000 - 3500 feet.

However, Monday morning it snowed all the day down to sea level, and most of the snow you see is STILL THERE.

I will remind you where I live! Northern California, not far from the coast! It flat out DOES NOT SNOW HERE!!! I'm 25 freakin miles outside of San Francisco! It's like twilight zone around here!

Thanks to apparently awful weather, my UPS shipment was delayed. Now I have to wait even longer to get my new video card >.<

It's a real annoyance because the snow storm was 2 days ago and the weather's been really nice since.

Haha, ****ups.
2009-12-10, 7:22 PM #37
Currently 30 C (~87 F) and ~80% humidity here. It's been 30 C / 87 F or more for a while now. There was one stupidly hot day last week where it was 30 C by 7am, roughly eleventy quadrillion degrees at lunch and then it cooled down to 30 C again by 10pm.
2009-12-10, 7:25 PM #38
Its about -21 degrees Celsius with the windchill here. You guys are pussies :colbert:

It's been around 15-35 degrees the past couple weeks. Finally got some snow. I'm loving it. :)

I can't wait to get home so I can go skiing.
