I knew the shot the second I saw it. I have played through Super Metriod more times than I remember.



It's taken from a demo of an as of yet unreleased game. I have a feeling that this will be to easy.

Seems like there's been lots of rule breakage on this thread, latelly. Jim7 isn't around, and I remember talking with him about the rules long ago. I'll just remind some of you:

3. please DO NOT POST THE FULL SIZE SCREENSHOT IN THE THREAD if it is larger than 640x480 (to keep the page loading quickly on dialup) instead post a LINK to the image

4. mac and console games are now allowed BUT YOU MUST state that the game is for mac or console

9. Kirby's suggestions for rules are stupid

[Edit: Note, it was my idea to have console and mac games, if stated. Hahaha, my suggestions are NOT stupid! omgdie Jim7]

So try to keep within those rules (And all the others on the first page) so that we can keep the game moving smoothly.

[Yet another rule suggestion: After 3 days of no correct guesses, a new portion of the SAME screenshot should be posted. This is just a suggestion to Jim7, so it's not a rule]

rules updated

1. must be a currently released game that has gone retail or a shot from an officially released demo
2. the ONLY exceptions to rule #1 are games such as America's Army and Enemy Territory
3. please DO NOT POST THE FULL SIZE SCREENSHOT IN THE THREAD if it is larger than 640x480 (to keep the page loading quickly on dialup) instead post a LINK to the image
4. mac and console games are now allowed BUT YOU MUST state that the game is for mac or console
5. NO mod specific screenshots the screenshot portion used must show content from the original game or expansion
6. you MUST wait your turn it is only your turn to post a screenshot when you have correctly guessed the game and the person who posted the image has confirmed this
7. If the thread is idle for 2 days after a guess has been confirmed and no new image is posted the thread will be hijacked and i will post a new image to keep the game moving so make sure to keep checking the thread if you make a guess
8. If someone passes their turn to someone else and specifies a person to take their turn that person has 1 day not 2 to post their image
9. If after 3 days nobody correctly guesses please post a new portion of the same screenshot
