I currently have a 128 mb Geforce 6600 GT on an Asus PCI-E motherboard that's 4-5 years old. Should be a direct swap, install drivers, and done, right? Good deal?

Yes, just make sure you have the PSU for it. Based on my vague memory from one of your other threads, I think you do.
