If you never played a Metroid Prime game, you can get the Metroid Prime Trilogy. 3 games in one.

Smash Bros. is pretty fun if you have people to play with often, otherwise don't bother.

I consider all of my games fun...

Alien Syndrome - good for co-op
The Conduit - decent shooter for the wii
GT Pro Series - an old school racer
Zelda
Mario Party 8
Metroid Trilogy
Okami - though i like it better on PS2, this one is a must play.
Sonic and the Secret Rings - cheesy story, pretty cool gameplay IMO
Mario Galaxy - good gameplay, meh story.
Smash bros - always fun with friends
New SMB - great games

That's about it... Sports, Sports Resort, Fit, and Play are all good nintendo titles, but not so much 'games' in their own right.

Super Paper Mario is actually an EXCELLENT game. Get it. Also seconding Smash Bros for obvious reasons (being the best multiplayer game ever >.>)

Paper Mario is a cool concept, but the story turned me off from it...

I haven't really found anything on the Wii that I consider to be a really good game. Heatseeker is a decent passing amusement.

Actually, I hated that game, I would never recommend it.

Smash Bros is ok if you're good at it... I placed second in a Melee tourney at my small college. Then whenever I came back home my cousins would kick my butt at it. :/ I think my college sucked at video games.

The big problem with the Wii is the lack of good titles.

This is why it's always worth it to hack your wii and get some homebrew as well

I liked The Godfather Blackhand Edition. Best use of the motion controls I've seen so far. And they managed it without Motion Plus.

No More Heroes is a pretty awesome game.
