My 5 year old laptop cannot run most games.

I do need a new one, but I don't really play games much anymore, so "need" is inaccurate.

ATI mobility radeon x300 (if i'm remembering correctly) on a 2GHz centrino processor with 1 gig of ram. It's still a nice computer, just not for gaming. Or for watching DVDs (apparently after 5 years or so my dvd drive is messed up enough to skip constantly).

Maybe it could still run an older source game with all the settings turned down, I haven't actually tried recently.

TF2 just isn't fun anymore without unlockable weapons.

Especially when other people can use them and Valve has been touting them for over a week...
