I heard it briefly the other day in the distance and it really caught my eye..well..caught my ear..that makes more sense, anyway

its a woman singing and a main part says something like

"through stormy skies/nights" or "through starry skies/nights"

i'm pretty sure its a relatively new song

anyone have any ideas thanks

Oh, that's "O Little Child of Bethlehem."
If you think the waiters are rude, you should see the manager.

It's been so long now, it's too late, but some radio stations have websites that list the songs playing, played, and in the queue.

AH YES I FOUND IT AFTER GOOGLING FOR A MILLION TIMES

Do You Hear What I Hear? - Carrie Underwood

I'm not a big fan of the song itself, but she has a good arrangement

the part I was talking about was in the first verse

"A star, a star, dancing in the night"

Her voice is hauntingly beautiful

Not with the clues we were given...

But anyway, yeah, Underwood has a great voice.

Oh man, had I been on earlier I could've found it for you. My mom listens to it a lot during the christmas season. :P
