Tell me what I need! This Wii was forced on me and I've been out of the loop of gaming ever since I cancelled my Asheron's Call account and got a Mac, oh... six years ago.

If you have friends, Mario Kart Wii.

The Conduit was a fun FPS, some people didn't like it but I did. Just don't expect a miracle for the Wii and you'll be fine.

Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon was the first decent Spyro game in years. Why do publishers contract out major licenses out to shovelware companies and expect it to work? Ugh. This result isn't Spyro-esque but it's fun.

Sonic Unleashed - I don't care for traditional Sonic gameplay but it coupled with the break to a more fighting/puzzle platform oriented gameplay actually was kinda fun.

The Force Unleashed - It's the "short" version. Bleh. Oh well I liked it anyway.

Sonic and the Black Knight - This game was OK too, didn't like it as much as Unleashed,

Wii Sports - Ultimate party game. Play 9 holes of golf with your friends for instant entertainment.

Rayman Raving Rabbids: TV Party is an amusing party game as well.

Absolutely get Wii Sports Resort (with wii motion plus).
Also, look online, theres a plethora of fantastic 'wii ware' games, I recently got into Lost Winds, very fun little game.
I also got a great deal of play out Mario Strikers.
Apart from that, seems you've already got all my favorites, that's a good starting collection you got there

If you're into the music games, and like Metallica, get Guitar Hero: Metallica

Also Wii Fit is cool to see how much of a fatty you are.

We have bought a few games since we got a Wii but always seem to play Mario Party 8 when people come over.

No More Heroes

^ One of the worst games I have ever had the mispleasure of playing.
The guy swears randomly and nonsensically in an asinine attempt to sound cool. They're attempt at humour is laughable, but not in the way it should be (looked so funny/cool in the previews too)
The combat in it was crap and way over-simplified, and his ability of becoming 'super powered' was entirely dependent on randomness, which usually means you get it just as you kill the last guy ><
