The update already happened shortly after this thread faded away. It didn't really change anything appearance wise, as they/CM probably felt it wasn't necessary.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

Krokodile is a filthy liar. I've just been busy, the forums haven't been upgraded yet. The license is getting its use though out of regular security updates.

VB4 is a huge change in theming, so the whole theme as is has to be scrapped and remade. A daunting project, especially since the new theming system somehow is worse than the current one for CSS editing.

There will be lots of changes, and trust me, you will notice. it's kind of hard not to notice.

Well they raised the prices of the software this time around, but they also removed the stupid yearly upgrade licensing, so that was a benefit.

Yes, it's expensive, but I have used SMF, and I am not happy with it. It was pretty much terrible on NeSi.
