Gaming nostalgia

I'm going through a huge gaming nostalgia phase, so I've been looking up some of the older games I used to play to see if they still have a an active community.
Today I discovered that theres still a pretty active Tribes 2 Community (which is awesome, because I thought the game had lost all hope after they shut down the main Sierra game server), which has been bolstered by a community effort called TribesNext (http://www.tribesnext.com).
I guess you can play for free and without a CD key, which is pretty exciting! If anyone is interested in playing with me, let me know. In order to make this thread a little more legitimate, share your favorite games of yesteryear, and older games that still have active communities.

Or I and a friend. Equally correct, but my way sounds awkward.
My girlfriend paid a lot of money for that tv; I want to watch ALL OF IT. - JM

Oh god yes that game, I have only played it once. For 6 hours straight to the end.
