I was going to post a "who wants a gmail account" thread since I have no one esle to give them too, but for some reason, I lost all six of my gmail invites. Do they disappear if you don't use them?

I think I lost a few unused ones a while back. The link did change locations too though, its on the bottom left now, rather than at the top.

Apparently. I had 6 gmail invites, then when I tried to invite someone they said "you have no more invites left!" After a while the red text disappeared as well. Now it's back, and seems to work fine. o.O

i've picked up 6 invites so far, and when i click that "invite 6 people to use gmail" nothing happens. i even turned off firefox's popup blocking and tried it in IE and nothing happens, so i cant send mine to anyone.

Not sure what kind of answer you're looking for...

An "Invite" is an abbreviation of the word Invitation, which is simply a document requesting you appear somewhere, or sign up for a specific service.

You need an invitation to be able to get into the gmail service, these invites come from people who have the gmail service, or possibly from the google team themselves, but less common.

We have a lot of extras here, and some are up for bidding on ebay.
